The Absence of Love is Fear

You have seen them in the local restaurant. They sit at a table, and don’t talk to each other. There are years of pain marked on their faces. They appear to have run out of things to talk about.

The truth is they are afraid. The years show they have experienced rejection, betrayal, or neglect. It is this fear of the past that keeps them from entering into the present with an open heart. It is easier to keep their heart closed, and appear angry than it is to open their heart to one another and risk the possibility of getting hurt once again. Their children are living in agony. Their only request is that their parents quit fighting with each other. The children do not realize they are missing the benefits of being nurtured, accepted, and loved. They only know their parents’ pain.

If you happen to be one of these couples, please ask for help. Breakwater Coaching is available to help you through the pain to find happiness once again with each other. It is only possible by the leading of the Holy Spirit. God desires for you to have a vibrant, open, honest, loving relationship with one another. If your walls are up, please ask for help. It is never too late to ask for help.
